The SJR 732 has a fast taper for long-range casts and the perfect blend of power and feel for deep-water jigging. When you sweep the rod, a lot of line moves – and that makes it a good choice for heavy-duty split shotting and light-duty Carolina rigs. It makes an excellent buzzbait rod and the 7’3” length aids in ripping minnow baits over deep-water humps and points. What’s more, it handles wind and larger baits equally well. Saltwater anglers, meanwhile, will like its powerful, fast action for shallow water applications where cover is sparse but the fish make long, powerful runs.
