This powerhouse spinning rod is as comfortable in freshwater as it is in salt. It is our spin version of a Carolina-rig rod, with more than enough power to fish heavy cover and big jigs. It handles oversized baits well, and you can fly line small crabs a country mile when casting to cruising permit or small tarpon. Bass anglers that prefer spin over cast will enjoy this rod for pitching jigs and worms around brush and tules, and it is powerful enough to sub as a light-duty flipping stick. A delightfully powerful 7’11” one-piece rod for light-duty surf and breaker fishing. It is the perfect rod for summer and fall surf action for school bass, small blues and weakfish, but don’t let the light-duty part fool you. It handles light metal exceptionally well and has more than enough power in the butt-section to handle larger fish. It is an impressive rod with a nice, crisp tip, capable of tossing ½ to 1 ½ ounce lures out of sight, and you will have no problem pulling fish out of the wash and onto the beach.

Specially designed as a deep-water spinning rod, the ISR 763 excels at fishing small leadhead jigs, tube jigs and small to medium crankbaits. The 7’6” length extends the angler’s casting range and provides a much better hook set in deep water. This rod has plenty of power for bigger fish, but it is also very forgiving, thanks to its moderate action. You aren’t apt to lose fish when they are hooked a long way off or going crazy right at the boat. It also makes a top-notch rod for ripping minnow-style lures.

One of our most versatile warmwater light casting rods, the ISR 662 has a fast taper for a more positive hook set and greater casting distance. The length provides better line and lure control, especially in deep water, where slack line may cost you a fish. It is a good choice for fishing minnow baits like the Long-A and Rapala, and the preferred rod for split-shotting worms and grubs. For walleye and bass, this is a good light spinnerbait and crankbait rod. It doubles nicely for a lot of light saltwater uses, too, including redfish, specks, small snapper and even permit, with more than enough power to handle the occasional lunker.
