A powerful, extra-long drift rod designed specifically for the big rivers of British Columbia. While it is basically made for float fishing, it will work equally well using standard drift gear. Its medium-heavy power rating makes it ideal for silvers and chum salmon as well. Also makes a great downrigger/planer board rod for trolling in the Great Lakes.

The StR 1264 is a very specialized steelhead rod designed for float fishing for summer steelhead. It has a medium tip to help protect light leaders and an extra-long handle to balance its 12-foot overall length. This rod began as a specialty rod we made for British Columbia, but it has found its way south into Washington and Oregon as float fishing has become more widely accepted in the Northwest - especially as a solution for fishing difficult stretches of water.

This winter steelhead rod provides the extra power necessary to fish higher water conditions and swifter currents. On average, winter steelies run larger than their summer cousins, so the extra backbone is a big advantage. Rated for up to 17-pound line, the StR 865-2 is beefy enough for small Chinook, but better suited for chums, sockeyes and cohos.

A wonderful big-river steelhead rod, this 9 ½-footer is the rod of choice in northern Washington and southern British Columbia. The extra length allows you to fish a float or use traditional drift fishing methods with artificial eggs, bait and spinners. Boat anglers like this rod for boondogging the likes of the Skagit and the Cowlitz.

Here’s a really good 12-pound test rod for almost any spin situation. Long enough for extended casts, but never cumbersome, the HSR 760 makes an exceptional flats rod for redfish, bonefish and permit as well as its original targets, steelhead and smaller salmon species. A perfect spinner rod for small rivers, it has a magnum-power butt and a quick, light tip that delivers fast, accurate casts and good fish-fighting ability - whether you’re fishing from boat or bank. This rod also makes a nice one-piece rod for schoolie stripers and small bluefish. As new techniques come to light, some rods just shine. If you are twitching for silvers in the Pacific Northwest, the action of the 760 is perfect for picking up jigs.

This rod was originally designed to back-troll small lures for steelhead or silver salmon. But because of its extra-fast design, light tip, and powerful butt, it has quickly emerged as the rod of choice for serious walleye anglers fishing spinner/worm rigs. Saltwater flats fisherman also like the light tip for casting soft plastics, jigs or bait to cruising redfish and specks. This is an extremely versatile rod for both fresh and saltwater use and it is surprisingly powerful for its size.
