Salmon/Steel/UL

BWC HSR 822-1

$379.00

A more powerful version of the Gary Loomis plug rod, designed to fish Hot Shots, Wiggle Warts and other deep-diving steelhead lures. This particular rod was developed for big fish areas like Tillamook Bay in Oregon or the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, where you need larger plugs and more lead to be effective. Its fast taper and magnum butt work well for backbouncing bait and it is a real workhorse for stripers and small sturgeon. Able to cast lures of up to a couple ounces and handle up to 5 ounces in a trolling/mooching situation, the rod’s long rear grip and trigger reel seat give you total control.

$379.00

The Edge Swimbait 808 is a great mod-fast action swimbait rod for small to medium single hook swimbaits (up to 7 inches) and hard baits up to 8 ounces. The sweet spot for this rod is hard baits around the 2 to 6 ½ ounce range. From a DRT Tiny Klash to a Deps Slide Swimmer 250, the moderate fast action of the 808 is incredible for keeping big bass pinned. With this rod in your arsenal, you will no longer have to worry about pulling hooks on the fish that really matter. In the saltwater, this rod excels at throwing swimbaits and jerkbaits for a variety of inshore species. Calico bass, small grouper, and small ling cod or no match for the power behind this rod.

SWC MBR 7109-1

$495.00

The MBR 7109 is an amazingly versatile rod. Despite the power behind this rod, the tip is softer than other heavy rods, making it flexible enough to cast Carolina rigs or jigs. Anglers also use it with great success slow rolling oversized spinnerbaits, pitching jigs, and muscling largemouth out of deep-water weedbeds. Muskie fisherman use it for big bucktail spinners. Salmon anglers backbounce bait with it. And the saltwater crowd even uses it for tarpon and large snook. All in all, it is an excellent fishing tool; its only limit may be the lack of time you have to chase after all those different species.
